Craft Day!

Hey All,

Last week, no I can offically say the week before last I went over to a friend's house for a craft day.  She pulled out her beads and was showing me how to make earrings.  Let me tell you it's not as easy as it looks!  Trying to make a little loop looks easy enough when someone else is doing it.  Yeah Right!  Oh and lets not forget all those little gadgets you have to use I kept picking up the wrong ones to use.  I told her I need to mark them to tell them apart.  The fun part was deciding which beads to use and if you wanted to use wires or hoops.

Here is a pair for the princess.  I hope they won't be too heavy in her ears.  She likes long and dangling and they are just that.
This pair is going to one of the nieces.  I thought mixing up and putting a little of this color and that color so she could wear them with many outfits.
Another pair for the princess.  I know she will like these with those little mirrors... sparkle.
This is for another niece.  A pair of blue to go either with jeans or a dress.
And this pair for the teen niece.  I love these!  You can either wear them all dressed up or with a pair of jeans.  I want to make more of these in different colors.

I had a lot of fun making these with Lynette's help.  I think we talked more than we did anything else.  The time flew by and it seemed like we had just started and almost 4 hours had went by.  I'm going to go over this week and we are going to make some more.  I can't wait!  I can already tell this is going to be another addicting craft and I'm going to have to stock up on some supplies.

Thank You Lynette for a great crafting day!

Take Care :)

PS... I linked this up with Have A Handmade Christmas over on Proverbs 31 Living.  Abbi did this last year and it was a lot of fun and I got a lot of great ideas from what everyone had posted.

Our youngest Jamie is "really" good at making jewelery, and she has great taste in chosing the shapes, colors and sizes. Great fun Vicky, my favorites are the first pair and the last pair.

Love ya,
Mel

Those are pretty! I have never made jewelry like that but it looks fun.

I am hosting A Handmade Christmas carnival again this year at my blog and I would love to have you come and link up your projects! It starts tomorrow and will be every week on Tuesdays.

Thanks so much for linking it up! I am still having issues with my post. I got my pictures up but when I did the Linky ended up in the middle of everything. I had a homeschool co-op to run this morning but am going to try to fix it now.
