Broiled Squash

One of my favorite summertime veggies is squash. We was given this recipe to use with zucchini and put on the grill. I have found that broiling it is much better and I also tried yellow squash and it was wonderful.

Yellow squash or zucchini
garlic salt
Parmesan cheese

Wash squash and cut off ends. Slice down center lengthwise. Place on baking sheet and poke some holes in squash. Brush with butter and sprinkle garlic salt and Parmesan on top. Broil for a few minutes and check to see if it's tender and golden brown. If not place back in and check a couple minutes later.
