The Letter Game... The Letter S

The "brought to you by the letter" game came to me from A Journey Of Scraps and Pieces.

Here’s how it works…You leave a comment on this post, and I’ll assign you a letter. You write about ten things you love that begin with your assigned letter, and post it at your place. When people comment on your list, you give them a letter, and the chain continues on and on. (I copied that from him and he copied off someone else, so… feel free to rip it off again).

She gave me the letter S.

Sons... I have 3 sons who range from the ages of 27 to 7 and each of them is different as night and day. One who has an amazing talent of drawing anything he sees. One who has a natural talent of golf and loves a good challenge. One who has an imagination so large he keeps me and his teachers on our toes. I'm proud of each of them.

Sentimental... I'm a sentimental person I have things that belonged to my grandmother that I would never part with. I have saved every Christmas ornament that my children have made and to this day I still hang on the tree.

Sand... I love the feel of walking on sand. Oh it's been way too long since I have been to the beach and felt the sand under my feet.

Smiles... Nothing better than seeing smiles on the faces of my children and grandchildren.

Sounds... I love hearing the rain hit the roof, the birds chirping, the waves crashing onto the beach, children laughing, the purr of my cat while he is sitting on my lap, the rustle of leaves whirling around on a windy day, and the best sound is the words I Love You from my hubby and children.

Socks... Seems like I buy them in pairs and they are worn in pairs the first time then washed, dried and when I am folding I am always finding those without a mate. They get tossed into a basket and then my little munckin and I will play the matching game.

Snow... It's pretty to look at in a picture or on TV. It's okay to see it in person for a brief time then I have had enough.

Sorrow... We have had plenty of that in the past few years missing the loved ones who have passed away.

Sugar... You know it's that white stuff that is sweet to eat but then again here in the south it's what you hear when you enter mawmaw's house... Come give me my sugar.

Short & Sassy... My hubby's favorite way of describing me.

If you want a letter, let me know in a comment and I will assign you one. These are really fun.

I forgot to add, if you need any help in regards to those books, leave a comment and I'll help anyway I can or even do a simple tutorial if I can.

Yes, it's true, there's no denying were cousins! Short & Sassy~ I get that all the time, but then again, Dynomite comes in small packages, so they say...

The letter game sounds fun, as long as I don't get the letters:U,Q,Z, or V.

I'm finally getting familiar with my new sewing machine. I started one of those denim quilts, the only problem is I didn't have as many old jeans as I thought and ran out already. As I get farther along I'll send some pictures thru my blog.

See ya soon,
Mel
