A Little Catching Up :)

Hey All,

I decided to come and post while I wait for the boyfriend to go home. We do have to get up early in the morning so hopefully he won't be staying late. We are going over to Concord Mills in the morning to go prom dress shopping. Tony said........ What's wrong with ALL her other gowns? Ummmmm she has wore them once already! And some of them are pageant gowns and wouldn't be good for walking around in or dancing they have a long train on them. Colin said.................. Has she gotten too fat to fit in them? Oh child you better not be talk'n like that in front of your sister. No she hasn't gained an ounce in the past couple years. Colin said................ Then why can she get new clothes and only wear them once? Because it's a special occasion. And then the little munchkin said..... Oh yeah she's a spoiled brat! Yeah you can tell he has all older siblings. Then I heard....... Are you going to buy me a toy? No I have to buy you a clock with the hands on it so you can practice telling time. And his big response was.......... OH MAN THAT'S NOT FAIR!!!!

The other night I made spaghetti & meatballs and made garlic pull-apart bread to go with it. I found the recipe over on Keeping It Simple and the kids loved it. I was lucky enough to get a small piece of it before the whole thing was devoured with not a crumb left. You can find the recipe here for the garlic pull-apart bread. They were disappointed the next evening when I didn't make some for dinner so I will have to work it into the menu sometime in the coming week. From the little piece I did get to taste it was scrumptious! Hmmmmm... maybe I should make two the next time.

In case you are wondering I didn't really make anything in the month of February to post for my Christmas All Year long. I started a couple things and ran out of material. I started one thing and it didn't turn out well at all. But I'm on a roll and should have a few things to post for the month of March. I've been working on a couple different projects and they are almost complete. I've done some surfing and found a few more that I'm hoping to start soon. If all goes well at the end of March there will be many Christmas presents completed.

My oldest son Josh is getting married in July. We will be going to Charleston for the wedding and I can't wait. I not only will be getting the sweetest daughter in-law ever but officially have two more beautiful grandchildren. I can't wait! Then in September we will have another addition to the family. My sister in-law, ok if you want to be technical she isn't my sister in-law any more but under the circumstances she is and will always be, anyway she is having a baby. The kids are so excited and hoping we can make a trip to Florida sometime in the fall. I've started a baby afghan and can't wait to finish it and send it to her. I've got to figure out what to do for the kids for their wedding. They have two of everything right now and are in the process of trying to figure out what they are going to keep and what they are going to get rid of or put into storage.

Enough rambling for one night it's time to get to bed so I can be up at the crack of dawn on a Saturday morning. lol

Take Care :)

Hi Vicky,
Josh, is getting married... Congratulations Josh and new bride! What a perfect month to have a wedding, and you know Charleston is my favorite city.

Things here are starting to show signs of hope. Good news to share, but will wait for our phone conversation.

Oh boy, I hope Jene realizes she is one lucky little lady. I'm not sure I could keep up with all that shopping, physically or economically. You may consider not only a clock with arms, but one that talks or fixes Colin breakfast... LOL

Love ya,
Mel
